Whoa — NKOTB, TLC & Nelly Are Touring Together!

by Alyse Whitney

Whether you are an '80s or '90s kid, this news is going to get you excited. New Kids on the Block, TLC, and Nelly are touring together this summer, bringing together three decades of nostalgic music on one stage. Although there's no word if they'll mash up "Summertime" with "Scrubs" and "Ride Wit' Me" into one epic medley, you will be able to sit right on the stage if you attend The Main Event tour. Donnie Wahlberg revealed on Good Morning America that the shows will feature "bar seats" where you can "converse with us, hang out and heckle us," and they may even steal some of your food and drinks.

The tour will kick off on May 1 in Las Vegas and tickets go on sale Jan. 31, with American Express presale beginning on Friday. This is an insane lineup that will satisfy all of your '80s, '90s, and early '00s music favorites, but I can't help but wonder what would happen if they made this one big music festival of boy bands and nostalgic music. Justin Timberlake collaborated with Nelly, so he can just round up *NSYNC, NKOTB can grab Backstreet Boys and 98 Degrees again, and someone powerful can get Britney Spears and Christina Aguilera. OK, if that's dreaming too big, we could just have Nelly times two with the addition of Nelly Furtado, and maybe some Ashanti and Ja Rule, too? This list could go on forever, but for now, this trio will have to be enough.
