I don't know about you guys, but for me, going to the gym while wearing something that makes it look like I actually know what I'm doing in the gym makes the whole experience better. Sure, I may be blindly swinging dumbbells around and checking my email while on the elliptical, but hey—I look good, and I seem like I belong there. What can I say? My mission is fooling the masses, one brightly colored sports bra at a time. But the sad fact of the matter is that sometimes workout clothes are just plain expensive. It could be the super stretchy material, or perhaps it's the quality of the clothes themselves, or maybe it's just about adding some extra pain to an already painful activity. Who knows? What I do know is that I love me some affordable workout gear. And if you're anything like me, then you're probably going to be thrilled to hear that Missguided is launching Missguided Active, a super cute line of activewear.
The new, 57-piece collection ranges from basics to fun statement pieces for the gym, workout classes, or just running around town (the best use for gym clothes, as we all know). As the message on the webpage for the new line reads, "We're not here to be average. We're here to make you look awesome and encourage you to train insane..." Noted.
The prints and fit of the pieces are perfectly on trend, while still seeming practical for a real girl in a real world—one that is incredibly stylish, mind you, but also busy and down-to-earth. Some favorites of mine? The heather gray and black mix-and-match pieces, of course, but I also love the graphic T-shirts and chic sweatshirts. It almost makes me want to put down this cup of coffee, throw on some real pants, and head to the gym right this second. Almost.
