12-Year-Old Kanye Already Had Stage Presence

I'll be the first to admit that I'm not an avid listener of Kanye West's music, but there's no doubt the man is talented and has a lot of confidence when he's performing. Well, thanks to his wife Kim Kardashian, the world now knows West has always had a stage presence and a knack for rapping. On Tuesday, Kardashian tweeted a video of West delivering a Martin Luther King Jr. poem in 1990 when he was around 12 or 13 years old. Kardashian was upset she didn't have a chance to post the video on Monday, which was Martin Luther King Day, but that didn't hold the reality star back from sharing West's early talent with the world.

As you can see in the video below, the rapper recites the inspirational poem in honor of the civil rights activist and leader. What really stands out is how confident West was at such a young age. He goes up to the mic, stands in front of the crowd, and never flinches when it's his turn to speak. Obviously, West was meant to be a musician and chose the right career path. It's funny how many similarities you can see between young and old West.

Check out the video for yourself to see West in action and how he's always had the talent of the rapper we all know today.
