Aside from being a world-famous pop star, British songstress Ellie Goulding is also a bonafide fitness fanatic. The "Need Your Love" singer has got the fitness game ON LOCK lately — sporting long, lean legs and rock hard abs that are impossible not to notice. Did you know she took over a Barry's Boot Camp class in Miami earlier this month? Yeah, she's just that good, and her next fitness venture is even better. Ellie Goulding stars in Nike's new campaign honoring health, fitness, and women.
Officially termed "A Melody Of Movement", the campaign consists of print ads featuring Goulding in fun and colorful workout clothes and 15 minute Nike + Training Club workouts curated and designed by the singer herself. What does the fitness guru have to say about the project? "I feel quite proud to be an ambassador for women who realize that being fit is better than being skinny." Amen to that. I absolutely love that this partnership promotes being fit rather than just thin. Strong is definitely the new skinny.
Personally, I am a huge Ellie Goulding fan, and I couldn't think of anyone better to front this campaign. If you're not convinced yet, here are 5 gym pics (and vids) that prove Ellie is perfect for Nike.
She makes running actually look fun.
Look at those biceps. whoa.
