Orla Kiely + Clarks = Everything

by Rosie Narasaki

Have you heard of Orla Kiely before? If not, it's a popular British brand frequented by everyone from Karen Gillan to Alexa Chung to the Duchess of Cambridge. To throw another celebrity name into the hat, I'd dub the looks very Zooey Deschanel, and one of our very own Bustlers said that pieces from Kiely's Spring 2015 line looked like "they’d jumped out of T. Swift’s closet" — does that paint a good enough picture of English Rose retro cuteness? Suffice it to say, I'm a huge fan of the brand, and am ready to pull out the balloons and streamers to celebrate, because Orla Kiely is releasing a new shoe collection with Clarks in mid-February.

It's the perfect marriage: the '60s and '70s-inspired, brightly-colored designs of Orla Kiely, and the ultra-comfiness (and support!) of Clarks (I have a pair of Clarks wingtips that I've worn almost every day for the past 7 months; they're good). The collection was exclusively shown at London Fashion Week (as part of Kiely's S/S 2015 runway show), and has a little something for everybody — from delicate pink and yellow slingback flats to towering crocodile chunky platforms. Let's take a look at the sneak preview from the Orla Kiely Instagram account:

Cute, right? Which pair will you be nabbing? I'm gunning for those platforms, personally!
