Another Brangelina Movie? Yes, Please

by Caitlyn Callegari

I know there's that saying that you shouldn't mix work and pleasure, blah, blah, blah — but, when it comes to this Hollywood power couple, I think we can all agree that they can do whatever they want with great success. So, news that Angelina Jolie might direct Brad Pitt in her next movie Africa, is not only exciting, but it's totally welcome. More Brangelina goodness?! Yes, please.

Sadly, it looks like the film is currently just in negotiations — but, still, we can hope! According to The Wrap:

Oscar winner Brad Pitt is in negotiations to play Richard Leakey in Angelina Jolie‘s drama Africa, an individual familiar with the Skydance project has told TheWrap. Skydance declined to comment, while a representative for Pitt did not immediately respond to a request for comment.

Pleading the fifth or not, it appears that Pitt and Jolie are most likely going to be making movie magic together on this sure-to-be intriguing film.

As for what the film will include, People explains: "The film centers on Richard Leakey, an archaeologist who became a champion against elephant poaching in the late '80s." After reading that, I can't deny that it would be so interesting to see Jolie's interpretation of this inspired film — especially if her husband is starring in it.

This, of course, isn't the first time that Brangelina will have worked together: 2005's Mr. and Mrs. Smith starred the both of them, and that's, of course, a classic; the couple is also currently working on By The Sea together, which Jolie herself wrote and is directing. So, I think it's pretty clear that the couple works amazingly together — and pretty clear, as well, that this casting totally needs to happen now.
