Have Johnny & Amber's Wedding Pics Been Released?

by Leah Marilla Thomas

Well, we never said Johnny Depp was predictable: This week, Johnny Depp married Amber Heard in a private ceremony in his Hollywood home, days before they were scheduled to wed on a private island in the Bahamas. So, since they've apparently been married for a whole day, the question undoubtedly on everyone's minds now is: Where are the pictures?

Unfortunately, guys, there's some bad news: We might be waiting a while for any photos. According to the reports of their wedding, this was a private ceremony between two private people. As fascinating as it is that they pulled the wool over everyone's eyes with this secret wedding — after announcing that the wedding was supposed to be held this weekend — I kind of want to give them this win. Let's all pretend that the Tuesday affair was super boring and legal and not worth photographing, because that's likely all we're going to get for now.

Anyway, not all hope is lost! The Bahaman ceremony is still on as far as we know, according to Us Weekly, and I'm sure that there will be official photographs taken over the weekend that we can properly ogle at together. Amber Heard, who met Depp while filming The Rum Diary, is reported to be wearing a Stella McCartney gown. That's not something you waste. Plus, guests are reported to be staying on a yacht because Johnny Depp's private island is just too small to accommodate everyone that wanted to invite. Celebrity guests confined to a boat for an entire weekend celebration? I'd keep my eyes on instagram this weekend, y'all. That sounds like the party of 2015 for sure.

Personally, I can't wait, because this celebrity pair are always dressed to the nines together. They're absolutely the kind of couple that will show up to a Halloween or costume party in the perfect matching outfit that's clever and well-executed and puts your whole life to shame. Just look at what they wore to the Mortdecai premiere.

I'm just saying, those wedding pictures better be out soon! Congratulations to the happy couple!
