Vin Diesel Sings Maroon 5, Wins Valentine's Day

Happy Valentine’s Day Eve to us all and to all a good night: Vin Diesel's singing again. Friday, the action star/karaoke champion of all of our hearts shared a very important video on his Facebook page. In the video, Vin sings Maroon 5 and Gwen Stefani song “My Heart Is Open”. Like his renditions of Sam Smith’s “Stay With Me” and Rihanna’s “Stay” before it, his performance of “My Heart Is Open” is so Groot, er, good. A beautiful and glorious Val-Vin-tine's Day present, indeed. He is so kind to us.

My gut tells me this won't be the last time the Guardians of the Galaxy star shares a video of himself crooning along to a pop hit in an empty room. And I hope my gut is right. These recordings are like the viral video equivalent of the Fast & Furious franchise: The premise never gets old, it boasts serious star power, it is always a guaranteed hit, and it is what the people want! May a fresh karaoke video pop up every Valentine's Day for the next few years.

That being said, I would like to humbly submit some song requests for Mr. Diesel's consideration. If/when he records another karaoke video, here are the tracks that I'd love to hear Vin tackle:

Those ethereal verses are not the easiest to sing, but I believe in Vin Diesel.

I'd pass out the instant Vin went for The Zayn Note.

I can see it now: A bewigged Vin sings while facing the corner of the room. And! A Baby Groot in a wig would do all of the dancing.

Turn that chin music up and puff that chest, Vin.

Actually, this might be TOO perfect. I'm not sure my heart would be able to take it if Vin Diesel performed both parts of "Take Care".

This middle school dance classic would be fire. No doubt in my mind.

"My Heart Will Go On" by Celine Dion

Ambitious? Sure. But this is Vin Effin' Diesel we're talking about.

"Tom Sawyer" by Rush

How'd this non-ballad get in here? Must be a mista— JUST KIDDING, I TOTALLY MEANT TO PUT IT ON THE LIST. Vin wailing along to this song would be nothing short of epic.

Any song, to be honest

Dude could read a takeout menu aloud in a sing-songy voice and my face would crumple up into a happy-crying mess.
