Jimmy Kimmel's Kanye West Interview Broken Down Into 8 Amazing Stages

On Wednesday night, Jimmy Kimmel interviewed Kanye West about that Twitter fight they had a few weeks ago and for the most part, things went well. Kimmel gave Kanye the platform to talk about his "creative genius" and how he feels persecuted for wanting to bring something of value to the world. But when Kimmel made a joke here or there, Kanye was not amused. He threw Kimmel the same cold, unhappy, serious looks he threw Kris Jenner when he went on her show to talk about daughter North West. Since Kanye's a big fan of labels, maybe we should just crown him the King of Anguished Eyeballing. Check out his 8 stages of unamusement.

Stage 1

The "I'm very unhappy to be here" stage always features Kanye's must uninterested looks.

Stage 2

The "I"m pissed, but I'm thinking" stage can give interviewers hope that Kanye will come around.

Stage 3

The "JK, totally still think you're an asshole" stage is the one most feared by those talking to Yeezus.

Stage 4

The "I can't believe you just said that to me" stage is alarming, but usually yields entertaining, if not poetic, off-the-cuff diatribes on creativity.

Stage 5

The "But none of y'all are listening to me, anyway" stage gives interviewers a reprieve, as well as a chance to interject.

Stage 6

The "Do I have your attention now?" stage heats things up.

Stage 7

The "Aw, I can laugh at a joke, too" stage is fleeting, but it consistently shows what Kanye is all about....

Stage 8

And the "We're all human at the end of the day" stage reveals what really seems to be at Kanye's core. He's a genius who's hardly ever amused... until he is.
