Forget the Burberry cape, this is by far the chicest cape I've ever seen. Karlie Kloss wore a cape at Milan Fashion Week, and may have just made a case for this eternal winter not to end.

When celebrities wore that Burberry blanket cape to death, the cape trend felt entirely overdone, but leave it to Karlie Kloss to change everyone's mind. After stunning on the Dolce & Gabana runway, Kloss exited the venue wearing possibly the greatest model-off-duty outfit to date. The 22-year-old wore a gray and white checkered cape, which she so gracefully modeled in two different silhouettes: straight and hanging, and draped effortlessly over one shoulder. Karlie kept the rest of her outfit simple, wearing black skinny jeans, a camel sweater, and thigh-high boots. With her blonde hair swept back into a low bun and her show makeup still in tact, including the sensuous burgundy lipstick, the model-of-the-moment proved that simple and classic can sometimes make the biggest statement.

I'm the girl checking my iPhone weather first thing every morning, waiting for an inkling of Spring to appear on the screen, but after seeing this look, it might be okay if winter sticks around a little while longer.
