The Most Badass Harrison Ford Quotes Ever
Scary news for Harrison Ford fans came Thursday: At around 2:36 PM PT, Ford crash-landed his private plane onto the Penmar Golf Course in Venice, Calif., near Santa Monica Airport. According to the Los Angeles Fire Department, the 72-year-old Star Wars actor suffered some "moderate trauma," and left the scene conscious and breathing, while his son, Ben Ford, tweeted that the actor was "battered, but ok!". Fans of the actor are no doubt relieved to hear that the actor is doing well despite the situation — the term "plane crash" is indeed a scary one (and one that we heard far too often on Thursday). Then again, if there's any actor who fans would expect to walk away from a plane crash, it's Ford.
Not only has the actor survived two separate aircraft accidents — a helicopter crash in 1999 and a small plane crash in 2000 — but he's also a badass in his own right. And, really, anyone who finds themselves in the hospital could use a little badass pick-me-up from characters like Indiana Jones and Hans Solo to help them recover quickly from their ordeals. Here are just a few great quotes from Ford's iconic characters that should inspire him to get back on his feet post-crash.
"Let’s get one thing straight. I take orders from just one person: me." — Hans Solo, Star Wars
So tell the haters to shove it.
"GET OFF MY PLANE!" — President James Marshall, Air Force One
Applicable to the hospital? Not really. Totally badass? Absolutely.
"Then I’ll see you in Hell!" — Hans Solo, Star Wars
Perfect for anyone who tells him he can't watch Netflix in bed.
"I'm like a bad penny, I always turn up." — Indiana Jones, Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade
And, thankfully, the man will turn up in many a films in the future. Cheers to a speedy, badass recovery!
