Outfit of the Day? More like Outfit of the Season. At the launch of People Germany in Berlin, Diane Kruger wore a cut-out Alexander McQueen dress, and the skin she showed was far from tacky in the lovely gown. After seeing this look, I'm definitely ready for spring, because I want to channel it ASAP.

Complete with floral appliqués and floaty ruffled tiers, the dress actually had the makings of a piece that could have gone horribly wrong, but leave it to Alexander McQueen's Sarah Burton to make materials and techniques that are traditionally feminine into something cool and impossibly chic. Even though cutouts aren't usually found on such girly, textured dresses, they gave the gown a little extra umph.

Of course, it didn't hurt that Diane was the one wearing the dress, too. It complemented her perfectly, and vice versa: they're both fresh and stunningly gorgeous. It truly looked like it was made for her. The actress let the dress shine by keeping her hair and makeup beautiful but simple, and her strappy sandals finished off the outfit perfectly.

I usually shy away from such feminine looks, but Diane nailed it in this. A photo of her at the event will definitely be making an appearance on my spring inspiration board, because it's official: Diane wore the #OOTS.
