Will You Buy Bergdorf Goodman's Cookbook?

Every month, 2,500 Gotham Salads are ordered at the BG Restaurant on the seventh floor of Bergdorf Goodman's. You know, the insanely posh restaurant that I've only heard about and seen little peeks of. It's on my New York City bucket list to order one of those infamous salads. Until then, I'll be at home, recreating other BG-approved dishes, because they're releasing a cookbook. Yes, you read that right: the Bergdorf Goodman cookbook will be on sale starting Tuesday.

Okay, so you won't get the Central Park views or get to experience the salad in the BG Restaurant ambience, but it's close enough. Published by Harper Design, the book is titled, not surprisingly, "The Bergdorf Goodman Cookbook." Recipes range from lobster bisque and chicken Milanese to white chocolate bread pudding and cocktails from the bar, according to WWD.

The beautiful cookbook is written by Laura Silverman and features an introduction by Hal Rubenstein. And the quirky illustrations are done by Konstantin Kakanias. And don't you work—there's some fashion names that you'll recognize, too. Look out for Diane Von Furstenberg, Zac Posen, Bobbi Brown, and Nina Garcia who will all be contributing some of their favorite dishes.

According to WWD, Bergdorf officials said that the cookbook is a spread of "healthy choices with a touch of indulgence."

I'll definitely need to purchase a copy and pull it out whenever I don't feel like ordering Domino's for dinner. Food and fashion lovers, unite because dinner is served. Just don't get it on your couture.
