Check Our Your Fave Famous Men As Drag Queens

by Arielle Dachille

Have you ever wondered which celebs would make the prettiest drag queens? Now you can find out. On the Celebrities as Drag Queens Tumblr, Christopher McParlan gives famous dudes virtual drag makeovers. Finally! An instance in which the powers of Photoshop are being used for the greater good.

As The Huffington Post reports, the fashion communications student and illustrator came up with this genius idea in the midst of a RuPaul's Drag Race binge. If you've ever watched Rupaul's Drag Race, Paris Is Burning, or taken in any sort of drag show, you've probably been struck by the breadth of skills and creative vision the performers have. In addition to being comedians, dancers, and champion lip-synchers, professional Queens have to be fashion designers, wig masters, and makeup artists. As creative movement, drag attracts creative fans who can borrow elements from it and make a statement of their own. Case in point, McParlan's gender-bending Photoshop masterpieces.

So far, he's given a slew of dudes the drag treatment, from Joseph Gordon-Levitt, to Nick Jonas, to Benedict Cumberbatch, to President Obama. If there's anyone you're dying to see, he takes requests and seems to take on as many as he can. Without further ado, let's take a look at some of these beauteous creations and marvel at the effects of digital contouring.

Justin Bieber

As some out there may have predicted, Bieber apparently makes a super pretty drag queen.

Daniel Radcliffe

D-Radz is legit a gorgeous mermaid with that eyeshadow.

Drake

Brow game: strong.

Harry Styles

I think the hair works with the makeup. A wig doesn't entirely seem necessary.

Jay Z

Hova's pout looks even more luscious with a little red lipstick.

There are plenty more where those came from, so head on over to Celebrities as Drag Queens to check it out. Now, if you'll excuse me, I'm spending the rest of my day trying to re-create the razor-sharp cheekbones of the above photographs on my own face with nothing but some foundation, face paint, and a whole lotta moxie.
