Nadia Aboulhosn's First Collection Is So Body-Posi

by Jodie Layne

You know her, you love her, you wish she could come over to your house and dress you — and now, if you're plus-size, she can! Well, sort of. Nadia Aboulhosn's plus-size clothing line for retailer Boohoo has finally launched after months of anticipation, and the looks are exactly the kind of hot that I expected from the blogger/model. The collection contains 20 pieces from day dresses and slinky gowns to statement t-shirts and bodysuits. And with no piece being over $52, the line is affordable, making it easy to pick up a few pieces without totally breaking the bank!

If you dig Aboulhosn's style, then you'll probably want to check this out, considering that the line features a ton of styles that are really difficult to find at most plus-size retailers. Her cute co-ords, mini dresses, thigh-high skirts, and cutout bodysuits are gorgeous, fun and super body-positive. This collection is definitely not about trying to hide or conceal your shape, and you can practically feel Aboulhosn's confidence radiating out of the photos while making you feel like you can (and should!) totally pull off these threads, too.

Aboulhosn has been a model for the brand's plus-size range since 2014 and has totally killed it in that role, but I'm so pleased to see her have a little creative control over the looks she's sporting in their lookbook whilst she brings her own touch to the fashion-forward offerings of the brand. Aboulhosn's personal style has long been celebrated and coveted by her fan base and I'm sure they won't be disappointed with this collection, since her aesthetic has transferred over so strongly. I'm off to buy the H.B.I.C. tee right now, in fact. Here are a few of my other favorite looks from the collection:

Extreme Wrap Skirt, $26, boohoo.com

Embossed Sleeve Dress, $35, boohoo.com

Mesh Sleeve Zip Bodysuit, $30, boohoo.com

If the social media buzz I'm seeing and the women posting screenshots of the pieces they've bought is any indication, you're gonna want to get the pieces you've been crushing on sooner rather than later.
