6 Britney Spears Quotes About Love, Because She Still Believes In The "Fairy Tale"

Like many of us, Britney Spears, too, has had some tough turns in love. Being in the public eye since she was 17 years old, we have seen her fall in love, breakup, have kids, get married, and breakup again, but throughout the ups and downs, Spears has never really given up on love. In a recent interview with People magazine, Britney Spears talks about love, her adorable boys, Sean and Preston, and her current boyfriend, Charlie Ebersol.

Spears is a happy momma, artist, and GF, and told People, "I'm the happiest I’ve ever been." Inspired by this, I decided to round-up some of the other times Spears has opened up about being a hopeless romantic and willing to take the risk to fall in love over and over again.

When She Said Fairy Tales Still Can Come True

In her People interview she shared, “I believe in the fairy tale… Love is a hard one. I don’t really understand love as far as relationships. With my kids it’s just unconditional, and that’s hard to find. It takes two people just loving each other a lot. Unfortunately I haven’t been given that in a really long time. I’m not really the person to ask what it takes to get married, but personally for me, it’s about loving each other and communicating right and being respectful and more honest.”

When She Opened Up About Justin Timberlake

In an interview in 2001 with The Guardian, Spears opened up about her first love, Justin Timberlake: “When people get too personal, it bothers me. But I’m not ashamed at all to say that I love him from the bottom of my heart. As far as love is concerned, with him, too much is not enough. He’s everything.”

When She Said Silence Is A Virtue

In a 2000 interview with Elle magazine, she gave an adorable tidbit about her relationship with Timberlake: “When you’re really comfortable with someone you love, the silence is the best. And that’s how me and J are. When we’re in a room we don’t have to say anything. It’s for real.”

When She Ended Up Kissing Another Frog

She told People magazine in 2004, “Marrying Kevin was the last thing I was thinking about doing. But then I said, ‘You know what? This is my life and I don’t care what people think. I’m going to get married. I’m in love with him.’ I kissed a bunch of frogs and finally found my prince. I feel like I’ve found my happily ever after.”

When She Said Love Is A Little Crazy

In her 2013 E! documentary, I Am Britney Jean , she shared: “Love is just an unexplainable thing and there’s a saying that I have in my bathroom in Louisiana… It says ‘Go beyond reason to love, for it’s the only safety there is.’ And it’s true, you should always go beyond reason to love and to be with the person you want to be with and to be cherished and to be treasured. I think it’s why we’re here as people.”
