January Jones' Epic 'Mad Men' Red Carpet Fashion

by Rosie Narasaki

Man, is January Jones on a roll lately. First, there was her magically color-changing hair (if we're voting here, I loved the pink-tinted bouffant she wore with Jon Hamm the most!), then there was the '60s inspired/rockabilly number she wore to a screening of Mad Men at the Lincoln Center (not to mention the Betty Draper-esque floral-embroidered Preen she wore to yet another Mad Men screening) and now? January Jones has been killing it on the Mad Men press tour. She wore fringed Preen for a very stylish appearance on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon, then she went on to wow us all with her literal take on Mad Men's Black and Red Ball in Fausto Puglisi.

And what better way to celebrate, right? After all, this is one of the last times we're going to be seeing the combined fabulousness of January Jones and Christina Hendricks and co all dressed up in their best red carpet finery... so we'd better enjoy it while it lasts (excuse me while I go cry in a corner). Though, if any show deserves to premiere its final season with a major fashion bang, it's certainly Mad Men, eh? Let's take a look at January's latest.

On the 'Tonight Show'

It's definitely a tough look to pull off, but January's wearing the tricky number with aplomb to spare. Also, is it just me, or does this remind anyone else of the blue and red custom-designed sailor suit/romper thingamabob Betty wore back in Season 1?

Very, very on the nose, and very, very, very fabulous. Ms. Jones, you've done it again!

What do you think of January's latest looks? For me, the red and black Fausto Puglisi gown is one of the best things she's ever worn (and that's saying a lot), while the fringe-y Preen is about as fun as it gets.

P.S. How epic was Christina Hendricks' majestic Zac Posen tearaway dress? I can't decide if I love it to pieces, or if it's the tackiest thing ever.
