DMX Accused Of Robbing Man At Gas Station

Well, the Ruff Ryders rapper looks to be in even more trouble. A 21-year-old man claims DMX and his entourage robbed him of $3,200 at an Exxon gas station in Newark, N.J. on Sunday, April 5. Reportedly, the alleged victim said he was chatting with DMX, aka Earl Simmons, at the gas station about music when one of DMX's entourage members pulled out a gun and demanded the man hand over his money.

The man told police he had a wad of cash with him because he just cashed his paycheck. Apparently, he pulled out the cash and DMX allegedly grabbed it. Then, the man claimed DMX and his friends got into four black Cadillac Escalades and drove away. Reportedly, the man and his friend, who was with him at the time, followed the four cars and even got a license plate number from one of the vehicles.

According to ABC 7 Eyewitness News, the man revealed that he and his friend were on their way into the store, but turned around after discovering the doors were locked. Then, they were reportedly approached by one of DMX's "bodyguards."

"They probably thought we had a gun, because he has his hand in his pocket — and that's how people carry if they have one," the alleged victim said. "That's why he asked him what was in his pocket. Then he was like 'nah, there's nothing in my pocket,' then he showed him the money."

The man said cameras caught the entire incident, which DMX's attorney, Murray Richman, said is not true. "The allegations are unequivocally and utterly false," he told ABC 7, adding that "any videotape would be dispositive."

This isn't the first time DMX has been in trouble with the law. In 2009, DMX was sentenced to 90 days in jail for convictions of theft, drug-possession, and animal-cruelty charges. Then, in 2010, DMX was sentenced to one year in prison for violating his probation for drinking alcohol.

As of this time, no charges have been filed for the alleged robbery.
