Is Nina Dobrev Dating Anyone?

It certainly isn't easy being, as Nina Dobrev puts it, "A human, a vampire, a doppelganger, a crazy immortal, a doppelganger pretending to be human, a human pretending to be a doppelganger." Constantly battling between immortality and humanity can be tiring and time consuming, I'd assume. So, even though she's planning on leaving The Vampire Diaries after this season, I think it's a pretty reasonable to question if Dobrev has any time left over to date anyone. Yes, we all know she and Ian Somerhalder are no longer, but has she found someone else worthy of her precious time? Or, is Nina Dobrev single, just enjoying her mid-twenties being young, successful, and unattached, living a life in love with her friends rather than a particular man à la Taylor Swift?

Well, if Internet rumors are to be believed, and boy, are there a lot of 'em, Dobrev might be dating Chris Wood, her work buddy on The Vampire Diaries. Hollywood Life even said back in December that Dobrev and Wood, "reportedly shared a few smooches in public." And then, mystifyingly, in the same gossipy breath, that she was also, at one point, apparently canoodling with Mark Foster, who is a member of the namesake band, Foster the People. In addition to allegedly juggling those two men, it's also been said that Dobrev has a "secret boyfriend," who may or may not be one of the aforementioned dudes. No, unfortunately, I am not kidding you.

Yes, the "secret boyfriend" thing is an actual conspiracy theory going around. Case in point, Celeb Dirty Laundry acknowledged the Foster and Wood gossip saying, "There were rumors about Nina Dobrev dating Mark Foster of Foster The People, and then there were rumors of her dating her Vampire Diaries co-star, Chris Wood." But, then they go on to assert that the actress has to hide her real nameless boyfriend in the name of her career, while her ex-boyfriend, Somerhalder is able to parade around his current relationship with Nikki Reed: "But unlike Ian, Nina has been very careful about not showing PDA with her secret boyfriend."

So what can we take away from all of this? Dobrev is probably just single and seeing who is out there and who she best clicks with. Until she makes it official, we can't know for sure. Besides, who needs a significant other when you're having this much fun all the time?
