If there is one thing you can count on on this chaotic thing we call life, it's a new Rihanna hairstyle pretty much every other day or at least every other week. Okay, maybe I am exaggerating, but a new Rihanna hairstyle is certain as death and taxes.
While I can pretty much assume that dying sucks and handing over cash to Uncle Sam can suck even more (tax season anyone??) a fresh Rihanna 'do, like her latest, which is very busy and very much a throwback, is a sure thing you can actually look forward to. Rih's latest style is two bumps, a soft orange hue, bangs, and '80s perm waves. Yeah, there is a lot going on.
The "FourFiveSeconds" songstress was snapped on set of a music video with this hairstyle of many elements. I am left wondering if RiRi can communicate with life on other planets thanks to those mysterious mounds atop her head.
The buns are not quite topknots and they are certainly not the rat's nest tease that Snooki from Jersey Shore used to favor. It's also nowhere near as intricate as the bows that Lady Gaga has rocked. The placement is too high up on the top of her noggin for it to summon Princess Leia from Star Wars, but the influence can be felt.
So once again, it's as distinct as Rihanna's DNA itself.

Only Rihanna can bring back the defined, crunchy-looking waves from the '80s perm era and make them look modern. But I am so focused on those mounds, which aren't actually uncommon.
Lady Gaga has also had follicular tentacles, for lack of a better word, from time to time. Like this bow.
Snooki's hair, namely her bump, could hide classified documents. It could hold more secrets than Ariana Grande's half-up, half-down 'do. It also looks like a kitten perched on her head.
