Talk about an adorable spin on a classic! Tonight Reese Witherspoon is at the MTV Movie Awards, where she was nominated for Best Female Performance for her starring role in Wild, and while she didn't snag the award, she's definitely in the running for best dressed of the night. Regardless of the loss, she's still won a golden popcorn in our heart of hearts because of her look. Reese's ensemble is proof that this Hollywood heavy-hitter is a style maven, and man, she never disappoints.
While Witherspoon's acting is nothing to gloss over, we've got to talk about that black and white minidress she rocked while presenting with Sofia Vergara. This stunning star is no stranger to looking fantastic on the red carpet, and with tonight's geometric take on color blocking, she's totally done it again. Adding a shocking pop of color, Witherspoon paired the frock with a fantastic pair of pink pumps. Basically, the actress is looking wildly amazing tonight (get it?).
Witherspoon's performance in Wild, based on the novel of the same name by Cheryl Strayed, is the reason she's been killing it on the red (or blue) carpets recently. Her role in Wild has had critics and fellow actors buzzing all award season long. Alongside her Movie Awards nomination, Witherspoon has been nominated for a BAFTA, Golden Globe, SAG award, and an Oscar.
Basically, she's pretty amazing in the film, and if you haven't seen it, you should definitely hit up Netflix or iTunes to get your hands on it. In the meantime, help me figure out where to get those pink heels!
