Here's How You Can Get Booze On Demand

Have you ever ordered a late night pizza, only to think, "Gee, I wish I had some wine to go with this!"? This boozey problem is now being solved, thanks to the new on-demand alcohol delivery app, Thirstie. But like any good cocktail, this app comes with a twist: Thirstie not only delivers you your favorite booze, but also delivers drink recipes based on what you order.

Thirstie is free to use and even better, doesn't come with any extra fees or charges — you pay the same for your alcohol as you would at your local grocery store. If you're wondering how the app works, you just type your location into the app and it will show you all of the choices you have available to you, based on where you are. Then, you just select what bottle you want and it will be delivered to your front door in less than an hour. Thirstie also offers all different kinds of liquor, so whether you're in the mood for some whiskey, a smooth bottle of Pinot, or some good old fashioned gin, you can get it all on Thirstie.

Thirstie is already in 10 cities around the U.S. and growing quickly. Currently, the delivery service is available in NYC, Hoboken, Jersey City, LA, San Fran, Chicago, Miami, New Haven, Austin and Washington DC. A representative from the company also reports that they are launching in eight additional cities in the next three months, so if you currently don't have access to Thirstie, you probably will soon enough!

If you're trying to keep count of all of the ways that Thirstie is bound to make your life better, here's a list of times when this on-demand delivery is sure to come in handy.

1. Lazy Days In

Thirstie is great for the days you don't want to leave the house. If you're having a Netflix binge and can't bear the thought of putting on pants and shoes, you can just order your wine fix on Thirstie and binge watch House of Cards uninterrupted!

2. You're Throwing an Impromptu Soiree

Have you ever invited some friends over and realized that you don't have enough booze for anyone who wants to have more than two drinks? Instead of having to awkwardly make a quick trip to the bodega, just order more on Thirstie!

3. You're Already Drunk

Of course we advise you to drink responsibly, but we've all probably had days where we were already drinking but wanted just one more glass. If you're in this predicament, just order some booze on Thirstie instead of leaving the house a walking violation of public intoxication.

4. It's After (Or Before) Hours

If you want to sip on a gin and tonic either after 10pm or before 9am, you might have trouble finding a location that's open to sell you some booze. Thirstie can solve this dilemma and allow you to avoid the judgment of strangers- hey, it's 5 o'clock somewhere!

If you live in one of the 10 cities Thirstie is already in, you can download it from Google Play or the App Store. Here's to on-demand booze!
