The Best Dressed Celebs At The VIP Style Awards

If chatter about the Met Ball is already beginning to feel like last year's news, meet the gala's Irish cousin: The VIP Style Awards. Now entering its 14th year, the VIP Style Awards ceremony honors sartorial luminaries who are considered Ireland's most elegant. Much like the Met Ball, the VIP Style Awards are the responsibility of Ireland's editorial elite, namely those in residence at the country's revered VIP magazine.

However, the VIP Style Awards are much more direct in their approval of the best-dressed celebrities, reporters, and editors; nominations are handed out for Most Stylish Woman, the Look of the Year Award, Most Stylish Newcomer, and Most Stylish Man. Perhaps if the United States were to adopt a similarly optimistic attitude towards red carpet costumes, there would be no such thing as a "Worst Dressed" list the morning after a televised awards show.

For the ceremony's 14th celebration, Ireland's best and brightest slipped into their finest gowns and jackets whilst awaiting the announcement of the year's reigning style icon. Read on for the night's nine best-dressed attendees.
