Who Is Max Greenfield's Wife Tess Sanchez?

New Girl's Schmidt may be a womanizer and a player, but the guy who plays him couldn't be further from that. Max Greenfield is a family man, and if you don't believe me, ask his wife, Tess Sanchez, who is now pregnant with the couple's second child, right alongside Greenfield's New Girl co-star Zooey Deschanel. Greenfield and Sanchez wed in 2008 and Sanchez gave birth to their first daughter, Lilly, in 2010. So what does Sanchez do other than helping raise baby Schmidts? Greenfield's wife is also in the industry, but don't expect her to make a cameo on New Girl anytime soon.

Unlike her actor husband, Sanchez is a player behind the scenes — and a pretty big deal at that. Sanchez works at a casting director, mostly for television. She has worked in the casting department on shows like the sitcom Do Not Disturb , the TV reboot of 10 Things I Hate About You,and the reboot of Melrose Place. In 2011, Sanchez took over for EVP of casting Marcia Schulman over at Fox, around the same time that her husband landed his own big break on the Fox sitcom New Girl. It seems these two really keep it in the Fox family — let's hope their kids don't grow up to be CBS fans.

Congrats, you two! Now if only we could convince Schmidt to settle down...
