5 Reasons Kristin & Alan Are Ideal Tony Hosts

Maybe I’m biased as a musical theater lover, but I think that the Tonys are probably the most exciting award show of them all. So, I guess we shouldn’t be too surprised that they’d add to the already hyped up event with not one but two hosts with the most. That’s right, both Kristin Chenoweth and Alan Cumming will host the 2015 Tonys, so get excited. I mean, how can you not be excited about the spectacle that the Tonys manage to put on every year? Especially now that it's going to be exacerbated by these larger than life personalities. You better believe that the 2015 Tonys are going to be the wildest they've ever been.

I’m not sure that there’s anything better than having two hosts to elicit double the entertainment. Actually, Anne Hathaway may disagree with that sentiment, but hey, this ain't her gig. Anyway, unlike the Oscars, it’s difficult to have a Tony host who doesn't inspire. Those in theater world are usually equipped with multiple talents. Broadway is rife with triple threats and with actors that can blaze trails across all entertainment mediums. So, Chenoweth and Cumming managing to stand out even amongst that super talented crowd, proves that they are going to be absolutely awesome hosts. And here's a few more reasons why.

They both have broad appeal

Theater, movies, television... they've got fans in every different platform.

They're both Tony winners

So, obviously, they're comfortable on that hallowed stage.

They know how to have fun

Fun = silliness.

They are, clearly, top notch performers
