The Best Looks From The Louis Vuitton Front Row

by Tyler Atwood

Though a chic car coat is the epitome of cozy couture, there is something about resort fashion that simply can't be matched by one's winter wardrobe. And indeed, no one does resort wear quite like Louis Vuitton. Louis Vuitton's Resort 2016 Cruise Show was no disappointment in the innovative design arena, showcasing a mixture of diaphanous sundresses, boldly printed suits, and leather-studded wares that fashion devotees can only dream of.

Stripes stole the runway, as did ethereal maxi skirt rendered in unexpected prints, and a regal, Games of Thrones-esque array of frocks marched down the catwalk during the show's finale. The collection was an unreal amalgamation of fantasy and utilitarianism, and the juxtaposition was showcased best by those well-dressed celebrities sitting in the front row. Armed with accessories and dressed to the nines in Louis Vuitton, the show's attendees were truly the main event, displaying the brand's wares in unexpected combinations and with their trademark insouciance. Amongst the best-dressed were a mini-clad Selena Gomez, a leather skirt-sporting Miranda Kerr, and a suited-up Grimes. As is befitting an avant-garde label like Vuitton, the sartorial vibe was entirely edgy, with no fashion rule left unbroken. Read on for nine celebrities who rocked the Louis Vuitton show from head to toe.
