SJP's Shoes Are Coming To Bloomie's
Sarah Jessica Parker is making Carrie Bradshaw proud. First, with her bold fashion choices at practically every Met Gala, and now, with her business deals, because Sarah Jessica Parker's shoe line is coming to Bloomingdale's flagship location. If SJP were in a SATC movie, she'd say, "Hello, my shoes live here now."
Yesterday, rumors swirled about a third Sex and the City movie, which came from SJP Instagramming a photo of herself stepping out of Bloomingdale's in NYC with the caption "Well. I guess the cat's out of the (little brown) bag. As usual, we will keep you posted on every detail as we are able. I'm under a strict gag order until then. Xx, Sj."
While we didn't get a confirmation of a SATC trilogy, we got the next best thing: 29 of Sarah Jessica Parker and George Malkemus’s SJP collection styles, which be available at the Bloomie's flagship starting this June — so, in a few weeks. For those of you who can't make it to the Big Apple, you can also shop them online,
SJP told WWD, “We are a New York brand and since we launched just over a year-and-a-half ago people have been asking us, ‘I’m coming to New York, where can I buy your shoes?’ Now to be able to point them in the direction of 59th and Lex is thrilling.”
She's already made use of the space, shooting her promotional images for the retail partnership in the display windows of the store. As for Sex and the City fans, sorry, but she also told WWD that "there is just nothing to say on the topic [of “Sex and the City 3”], and if there were something to say, we would share, but right now, there is nothing to say at all.” But, for now, at least you can shop her shoes!
