I know you were all probably heartbroken by the news that rumors of a Full House spinoff were false — so false, in fact, that they were actually based off of a bogus April Fool's Day post — so hopefully, this acts as some consolation. It's not much, I know, but it's something. According to Naughty But Nice Rob, Full House star Lori Loughlin, will guest-star on ABC's The Neighbors later this season. Aunt Becky is back!
HollywoodLife tells us a little more: Apparently, Loughlin's guest role won't be a particularly pleasant one, as she's set to portray the "arch-nemesis" of main character Debbie Weaver (Jami Gertz). No word on exactly how their storylines will clash (probably epically), but there is one tidbit of fun trivia to be had here: Scott Weinger, who played Steve on Full House, is actually a producer of The Neighbors, so Loughlin's guest spot is actually kind of like an off-screen reunion for the two — in a way. Someone get Uncle Jesse in on this now to make it complete! Joey can come, too.
Loughlin announced the news on her Twitter as well, nothing that Weinger actually wrote the role just for her:
Loughlin's episode will air later this season.
