How Long Have Taylor & Calvin Been Dating?

Taylor Swift and Calvin Harris are one of Hollywood's hottest new couples to watch. Not only are they both successful, talented, and incredibly good looking, they just recently revealed to the public that they are indeed together. Harris and Swift left no question about their relationship status at the Billboard Music Awards on May 17, when they were spotted kissing, which happened just days after the two were spotted holding hands on an adorable date night. But speculation has gone on long before the date night and the awards show that they were an item, so one thing fans of both stars might be wondering about is when exactly Taylor Swift and Calvin Harris started dating.

After all, an actual meeting date has not been revealed, and we can rest assured that Swift and Harris will be quite tight-lipped about their meet-cute for as long as possible (maybe forever, if they can help it). But according to an Us Weekly report, Harris and Swift hit it off at the 2015 Brit Awards, which took place in late February. Of course, they probably did not immediately sit under the candlelight together, but according to Us, they did start texting after the Brit Awards. Apparently Swift was charmed enough to jet off to Vegas on March 7 to see Harris perform, and that is reportedly when things started really heating up between the two.

Although it is difficult to put an exact date on the beginning of their romance (and they don't seem to be offering any clues), it sounds like their budding fairytale has been going on for at least a couple of months. And it is also safe to say that they feel comfortable and secure enough with each other now to share where they are with the world — good news for anyone who is on the hunt for #relationshipgoals.

I think we can all agree that any relationship Swift has can never truly be official official until the lucky man gets to meet her cats and wins their approval. Considering how close Swift is with Olivia Benson and Meredith Grey (the cats, not the human characters), her man meeting them is basically the equivalent of changing your relationship status on Facebook. Luckily, Harris seems to have already passed the cat test, at least according to his Instagram.
