Aziz Ansari's Thankful For This

First things first: If you haven't checked out Aziz Ansari's new stand-up special Buried Alive on Netflix yet, you should drop whatever you're currently doing and immediately go watch that. It's hilarious, and probably preferable to whatever work you're currently trying to avoid. After that, though, you can check out this clip from Aziz Ansari's appearance on Conan last night, in which he details exactly how thankful he is that racist people are slowly dying off, thus making the world a more tolerant place.

Specifically, he says: If your grandmother or other elderly family member was a "racist piece of shit," you shouldn't be too sad when they die — because they were racist anyway. Between this clip and this clip from Buried Alive , Aziz Ansari is successfully redefining and executing humor based on stereotypes in a non-offensive, hilarious way. I didn't think it could be done, but leave it to Ansari to prove me wrong.

The whole bit that follows about him reading the Wall Street Journal then discovering that they used a picture of his eyebrows to indicate what the "perfect eyebrows" for men are is also hilarious, so you should just watch this clip now instead of letting me explain the whole thing. Check it out below.
