Donald Trump's Iowa Trip Spurs Rumors of 2016 Presidential Bid
Oh good grief. Rumors are already swirling after Donald Trump announced a trip to Iowa this August, where he'll be speaking with religious conservative activists evaluating possible 2016 candidates. Trump accepted the invitation to the Family Leader's second-annual leadership summit, where speakers will be asked to make remarks on threats facing the country and families. Where do I buy my ticket?!
So far, former Sen. Rick Santorum of Pennsylvania is also a confirmed speaker. Texas Gov. Rick Perry, Sen. Rand Paul (R-KY), Sen. Marco Rubio (R-FL), and Louisiana Gov. Bobby Jindel are also invited.
Last month, the New York Post reported that The Donald has already spent more than $1 million researching his political standing in each state.
The Family Leader's summit will take place in Ames on August 10. In the meantime, Mr. Trump, you just keep doing you.
