Chris Brown Accused of Assaulting a Girl at Nightclub and We Can't Say We're Surprised

In the most surreal breaking news of the day, Chris Brown is accused of shoving a girl so hard at a club that she might need surgery. According to TMZ, 24-year-old Deanna Gines says Chris deliberately shoved her at an Anaheim nightclub where the singer was performing. She filed a police report about the incident after being taken to the hospital where doctors told her she has torn ligaments in her right knee and may need surgery.

Brown's rep Nicole Perna denied the claim: "I'm unaware of the incident, as is Chris' lawyer and his entire team. He was in a great mood after Powerhouse. None of this makes sense."

We'll have to wait and see if the accusation is true. But if it is, we can't say we're surprised. Brown returned to the limelight after claiming that he realized the error of his ways and that "it wouldn't happen again." Guess his whole "I finally learned that beating a woman is wrong" statement was false in two ways— 1) he should've known that to begin with, and 2) he clearly hasn't quite got the avoiding-assault thing down quite yet.
