Missing Red Panda Found Wandering Hip DC Neighborhood

We know you were worried, but you'll be relieved to know that Rusty the red panda has been found!

The adorable redhead went missing overnight on Sunday, prompting the National Zoo to take to its social media accounts to report the the mischievous missing bear. The web was quickly flooded with tweets and photos tracking his travels throughout the city.

They eventually found the little guy wandering Adams Morgan, a trendy DC neighborhood. (He was probably just in the mood for some thrift shopping and Ethiopian food.) After a quick visit to the vet, Rusty is on his way back to the zoo, where he will celebrate his first birthday next week.
