What Time Are The CFDA Awards? The Details Aren't 100% Set, But Here's What We Know

Finally, one of the biggest fashion events of the year is finally here. The CFDA Awards are happening on Monday, June 1, and everyone from Tom Ford to Pharrell is slated to be there. IMHO, it's kind of like the Grammys or Academy Awards for the fashion world, and based on previous years, this event has never ceased to impress with endless fabulous fashion. As of now, it's uncertain what time the CFDA awards will happen, but if it's anything like last year's event, we're betting that it will start a 6pm EST and run until 9 pm EST. Get excited.

If you're not familiar with the awards show, it's an annual event that recognizes "the outstanding contributions made to American fashion by individuals from all areas of the industry and related arts, with awards being given for design excellence in womenswear, menswear, and accessories as well as extraordinary accomplishments in journalism, creative vision, and lifetime achievement."

And all of our favorite people will be there — even Instagram. The app will be in attendance to receive the Media Award. This year, the nominees are absolutely fantastic and it will be amazing to see which designers and fashion icons snag the awards. President Diane Von Furstenberg explained at the nominee announcement, "We’ve had a great board meeting today, a very fun one," and I'm assuming that the the award show will be a very fun one indeed.

All I can say is that I'm thrilled to see some of the biggest names in the fashion industry hit the red carpet. One thing's for sure though, everyone will look amazing.
