Nik Wallenda Broke Three Records in One Night

Well, now we know where Devious Maids' prospective viewers all went. While the new controversial Lifetime series failed to clean up in the ratings, Nik Wallenda's Grand Canyon stunt soared sky high amongst viewers.

The stunt — which saw Wallenda walking on a tightrope across the Grand Canyon — attracted a whopping 13 million viewers for Discovery. The show also broke records on social media, attracting 1.3 million tweets. (It seems there's something here with the lucky number 13!)

On Sunday night, Wallenda became the first man in history to cross the Grand Canyon on high wire, joining the ranks of some other notable daredevils. And the most daring thing we did was reach across the room for the chips without standing up.
