Michael Jackson's Son Graduates From High School

The Jackson family had something awesome to celebrate on Saturday: Michael Jackson's eldest child, Prince, graduated from Buckley High School (in Sherman Oaks, California) with honors. Prince's proud Aunt La Toya was on hand to snap a pic of the new grad, but she was not the only member of the Jackson family who showed up to support Prince. Also in attendance were Prince's grandmother, Katherine Jackson, and his little sister, Paris Jackson, as well as some of his other relatives. La Toya shared photos of her grinning nephew in his cap and gown, displaying his hard-earned diploma, as well as a group shot of the family at the big event on Twitter. La Toya was clearly ecstatic about her nephew's accomplishments. "YOU DID!" she wrote. "And you did it with HONORS!" Cool aunt or coolest aunt?

Prince has mostly managed to stay out of the limelight since his famous father's passing, and his Twitter feed reveals a well adjusted teen with a love for his family, water sports, and his pet lizard, Sparta. According to a recent Twitter announcement, Prince will spend the next four years matriculating at Loyola Marymount University (LMU) in Los Angeles, California. Like all high school seniors, Prince struggled making the huge decision of where he wanted to go to college, but ultimately he decided on LMU because the campus "felt like home."

That is most definitely a happy Aunt. Meanwhile, Prince has clearly grown up to be handsome and smart young man. (He even remembered to bring sunglasses!) Check out La Toya and the rest of the Jacksons who showed up to cheer on Prince on his big day.

It is good to see the family supporting each other. May Prince have a bright future ahead of him and LSU let him bring Sparta along to campus.
