Taraji P. Henson At The 2015 CFDA Awards Wore A Marsala Red Gown And Looks As Fierce As Ever

If you're not already familiar with Empire's biggest star, tonight's a good time to familiarize yourself with the budding fashion icon. At the 2015 CFDA Awards, Taraji P. Henson wore a gorgeous marsala red gown and looked as fierce as ever. Although Henson has been around for quite some time now, her style game has really started to take off in the last year. And while she always dresses to impress, I think tonight's ensemble is my favorite look on her yet.

Henson wore a custom, floor-length Vera Wang gown that featured a racerback bodice and a sex cut-out in the back. The gown also had a slit that went right above the knee, giving her the chance to show off her stems and her strappy silver sandal heels. Henson wore her hair in short, classic curls (coiffed by stylist Ursula Stephen). She rocked a perfect smoky eye and a glossy pink lip. In short, girl looked stunning.

Tonight, Henson will take the stage as a presenter, giving out the accessories award. The nominees include Alexander Wang, Irene Neuwirth, Jack McCollough and Lazaro Hernandez for Proenza Schouler, Ashley Olsen and Mary-Kate Olsen for The Row, and Tabitha Simmons. Good luck to whomever wins because it's going to be difficult to steal the spotlight back from Henson in tonight's outfit.
