The Face Of Obamacare Is Angry

by Jenny Hollander

So, who's that girl? The anonymous model who's been serving as the "face" of the Obamacare website since its doomed outset has stepped forward ... and she ain't happy. "I mean, I don't know why people should hate me because it's just a photo," said Adriana — her last name was withheld — of the "cyberbullying" to which she's fallen victim since the Oct. 1 launch. "I didn't design the website. I didn't make it fail, so I don't think they should have any reasons to hate me."

Adriana has been mocked, Photoshopped, and taunted online for her (negligible) role in the website fiasco. "I'm here to stand up for myself and defend myself and let people know the truth," she told ABC News. Adriana says she was never paid for the photograph's prominent position on the page. Two weeks ago, her picture was deleted and replaced with icons on the site's interface. "I wanted the picture down, and they wanted the picture down," she continued. "I don't think anybody wanted to focus on the picture."
