Reese Witherspoon Recreates 'Legally Blonde'

by Maggie Malach

Although she's an Oscar winner, mother of three, and fashion entrepreneur, Reese Witherspoon doesn't forget her more humble beginnings. By all accounts, Legally Blonde should have been an over-the-top comedy centered around a ditzy sorority girl, but thanks to Witherspoon, it's still perfect 15 years later. The actress still embraces her character, Elle Woods, which Witherspoon proved when she recreated Legally Blonde 's bend and snap.

Any fan knows that in the movie, Witherspoon demonstrates the maneuver as a nearly fool-proof way of snagging a guy. ("In my experience, it has a 98% success rate of getting a man's attention and, when used appropriately, it has an 83% rate of return on a dinner invitation," she promises.)

When Witherspoon created the Bend and Snap 2.0 at the annual Walmart stock holders meeting on June 5, she added one more step: "And stock!" The bit was a way to playfully teach the audience about restocking shelves, but I'm just focused on the fact that Elle Woods was brought back to life.

I'm so excited, in fact, that I took a look at some of my other favorite moments from the iconic movie that I'd love for Witherspoon to recreate ASAP.
