Carey Mulligan Will Have A Stylish Pregnancy

Congratulations are in order as it was announced Monday that actress Carey Mulligan is pregnant with her first child! It may feel like summer, but we’ve still got a few more weeks of Spring, folks and you know what they say about April showers bringing May flowers? They also bring a lot of babies! That’s one more we can add to the list of our favorite expecting celebs like Kim Kardashian and Kristin Cavallari.

It has been an exciting few weeks for The Great Gatsby actress. Between turning the big 3-0, having been nominated for a Tony Award for Best Performance by an Actress in a Leading Role for her performance in Broadway’s Skylight and a baby announcement, it's safe to say the first half of 2015 has been good to Mulligan.

According to Us Weekly , the couple had no initial plan to announce the pregnancy, however “she hasn’t stopped working,” so it would have become a tad bit obvious at some point. Mulligan also hasn't let the big news affect her killer personal style, never once hesitating to pose for paparazzi on the Tony and MET Gala red carpets clad in Balenciaga gowns. Whoever said that pregnancy could not be done in haute couture was obviously mistaken.

No matter the occasion, Mulligan is always dressed to the nines and a bonafide ten. I would describe her style as modernized classic, always put together with an elegant air.
