White & Brown Color Combos You Need This Summer

Certain color combos will always instantly bring you back to certain seasons. Founder of fashion blog The Sartorialist Scott Schuman‘s Instagram photo of a young woman in wearing white and brown sandals defines summer-casual and made me think of strolling the boardwalk on a warm afternoon or digging my toes in the sand for the first time each season.

When I envision the summer months, I instantly think of bright colors decorating flowers in parks and bikinis in stores, but I also think of a sense of simplicity, and what could be more simple than an all white ensemble tastefully completed with a pair of brown sandals? Nothing.

White is one of the only colors that works in every season, but right now we're freewheeling into summer and trends will be trends, always trending.
