Has Dakota Even Read '50 Shades' Because....

I feel like this might actually be a testament to Dakota Johnson's acting skills, because I cannot think of any other explanation for the news I am about to share with you all. There is none. Either that, or someone forgot to add that she was smiling through clenched teeth with a gun pointed to her head as she said this, because I would believe that, as well. Judge for yourself: In a new interview with EW, Dakota Johnson talked Fifty Shades of Grey , and revealed that she sees it as "an incredible love story." Not an abusive, badly written, cheesy one — "incredible." Say wha?

"I just really understand it," Johnson reportedly said of the film. "I think it’s an incredible love story and that’s why it’s affected so many people. Erica (EL James) did a really good job of explaining how that just can happen sometimes and you have this chemical pull to someone. Adding in the sex makes it perfect. Sometimes you feel a little bit naughty and that’s okay."

Yeah... nothing says modern romance like controlling significant others and doing weird stuff with tampons, right? The best part is, she's almost convincing! Poor, naïve Dakota Johnson.

Similarly, her co-star Jamie Dornan — who is going to portray the majorly messed up Christian Grey in the film — has spoken out about his upcoming part in the film as well, saying, "I certainly don’t fear it."

These poor, poor actors. I give them a week.
