9 Best amfAR Inspiration Gala Outfits, From Laverne Cox In Cutouts To Andreja Pejic's LBD
In case you missed it, this year's annual amfAR Inspiration Gala took place in New York City last night, and many fashion risks were taken. The gala, which raises money for AIDS research through the celebration of men's fashion, is a big draw for many important people in the fashion community. With everyone from Miley Cyrus to Lily Donaldson attending, it was basically a guarantee that we would have a plethora of fabulous red carpet pics for us to gush over today. Here are some of my favorite looks from the night.
Laverne Cox
The OITNB star stepped out in a cut-out black gown, and let me tell you, there is skin in all the right places.
Miley Cyrus
Leave it to Cyrus to push the limits of "black tie." Between the opera length gloves (very Amal Clooney-esque) and the matching red lip, she proves that wearing all one color doesn't have to be boring.
Lily Donaldson
Although very simple, a white gown with a scoop neck like this screams bombshell. Yaaaas Lily, yas!
Constance Jablonski
Another VS models with great taste. The feminine hemline paired with her messy bun is the perfect modern day Audrey Hepburn look.
Anja Rubik
Rubik was one of the only attendees to experiment with a full length pattern gown, so naturally I’m drawn towards her boldness. She makes beachy, boho vibes look red carpet-worthy.
Taylor Hill
So many models in white dresses, so little time. Normally the pairing of the high neckline and dark lip is such a fall look, but Hill’s bronzy skin and the short length makes it scream summer. Can I have this in my closet now?
Victoria Justice
This black dress looks charming from the front, but even better from the back. That train!
Joan Smalls
This has to be hands down one of the coolest looks of the night. The combination of sheer and stripped material makes it edgy (as Joan Smalls always is) but the ruffles add a touch of femininity.
Andreja Pejic
The new Make Up For Ever model stayed true to the LBD, but the satin texture is what really makes this outfit sexy.
