Radiant in red! That was our girl Kendall Jenner in a red Halston Heritage dress at the 2015 Fragrance Foundation Awards in L.A. Her clingy, tomato-hued dress was asymmetrical, as Jenner bared a single toned shoulder and her leg and thigh via a serious slit. Her leggy poses cribbed mightily from Angelina Jolie at the 2012 Oscars.
The other side of the Jenner sister's body was completely covered, so the dress was not exactly balanced.
The Estee Lauder model, who is the face of the brand's Modern Muse Le Rouge scent, added a metallic belt to the ensemble, as well as a pair of strappy black heels. The overall vibe was a modern update on a decidedly '70s silhouette, thanks to the cutouts, the length, and the fact that the fabric hugged her figure.
I sort of wished she would have swept her hair back, so I could get a better appreciation for the neckline and the top of the dress.
The dress was short and long at the same time, which made it unpredictable, but thankfully, there was no mullet hem in sight. From one side, it looked short. From the other, long! I love when fashion creates optical illusions
Here's a look at Kendall's Halston Heritage dress from all angles.
While seated, Jenner had legs for days. Weeks, even.
Her right side was bared. No sleeve and a slit.
From the side, it looked way more glamsual, doesn't it? That is, it was still glam but more casual than a front view suggests.
Another Angie-inspired pose.
I love the added sheen from the accessories, especially those cagey heels.
The back view showed off more thigh and more shoulders.
This vantage point makes the dress look like half shorts, half pantsuit. That's the sign of an amazing dress — when you are not quite sure what you are seeing every time.
Lastly, we've got Miss. Kendall as Alec Baldwin's arm candy! What a dapper duo.
