What's The Song In The Apple Music Commercial? This Ditty Will Have You Tapping Your Foot, Guaranteed — VIDEOS
On the thirtieth day of the six month of the year 2015, Apple Music will walk into the Music Streaming Service Saloon, plop down on a barstool and kick up its $10-per-month boots, and order a bottle of songsparilla. That's right— Apple’s answer to commercial streaming services like Spotify and Pandora is almost here. And if any of us just so happen to forget the release date, there's a television ad that has the answer. The TV spot for Apple’s to-be-unleashed streaming service tips its 10-gallon hat to music players of yore and super-yore; Ah yes, the days of the phonograph, the vinyl record player, the tape deck, and the brick that was the iPod Classic. Given that it isn't just an Apple ad, but an ad about a music service, you bet there’s a song. And not just any song, but a darn good song. The song in the Apple Music commercial is “There Is No Light” by Wildbirds & Peacedrums.
Wildbirds & Peacedrums is the husband and wife duo of Andreas Werliin and Mariam Wallentin. If you dig the Swedish band's percussion-driven tune, you can find the track on their 2009 album The Snake. Check out the music video for "There Is No Light" here:
