If you're a skeptic like me, you probably aren't expecting much from this new trailer for Muppets Most Wanted . Maybe your childhood is dead like mine is, or maybe your heart is just a dark and cold wasteland — I don't know your life. Whatever the reason is, though, let me make this very clear right now: Muppets Most Wanted actually looks insanely delightful, and Tina Fey is in it, so now you have to see it.
The trailer only runs about two and a half minutes, but they've jam-packed a lot of the plot into it: Basically, Kermit has an evil doppelganger who looks just like him, save for a tell-tale mole that's on his top right lip. When the two somehow meet, the doppelganger slaps a lookalike mole on Kermit, which is enough evidence in what appears to be Soviet Russia (sounds about right) to get Kermit thrown in jail while his evil doppelganger roams free to steal Kermit's life. The best part, though, is the fact that Kermit's prison guard is Tina Fey, with the best worst Russian accent you'll hear probably all day.
Also starring is Ricky Gervais, Ty Burrell, and Salma Hayek — a cameo from Christoph Waltz as an Interpol inspector has been reported, as well.
