Kourtney K Proves Mondays Can Be Sexy

I’m not exactly sure if “case of the Mondays” is a relative term, but I can guarantee that if I were to kick start my week lounging in bed until 11 o’clock you would not hear this girl complaining. Apparently we should all be taking notes as Kourtney Kardashian shows us Mondays can be sexy with a dimly-lit selfie posted to Instagram this morning. I have to wonder if she really woke up like this, because I certainly did not.

Truth be told, by Sunday night I am exhausted. Hitting the hay is definitely bittersweet after working 9-6 Monday through Friday with a busy but satisfying weekend of summertime activities to top it all off. It's true, waking up on Monday morning is not always as traumatic as the world makes it out to be, but rarely is it a heavenly abode of sunshine and daisies, let alone sex appeal.

And there lies the difference between celebrities and the rest of the world. I’ll be honest, when I wake up my hair is a wavy mess, 6 out of 10 times I am rocking a pair of raccoon eyes as a result of a failed attempt at wiping my face makeup-free the night before. I own it, guys. Kourtney Kardashian, on the other hand, looks like a goddess, sleepy eyes and all.

Before immersing myself in the online media realm that is my career, the most I knew about the Kardashian-Jenner family was that they were on television, one of them was named Kim and the three Kardashian sisters had a clothing line I couldn’t afford at Sears. Now? I basically read all about Kimye, Kendall, Kylie, and occasionally Khloe, on a daily basis.

Don’t get me wrong, I love me some Kardashian-Jenner scoop, but it is refreshing to see that despite the reality television show and everything she’s got going on behind the scenes, Kourtney always seem to keep her life as private as she can under the circumstances — well, you know, excluding a sexy Monday selfie here or there.

However, her sexy Monday look is providing me with all the #MondayGoals. I guess when you wear a white button down, unbuttoned way down, to bed only to wake up with naturally pouty lips and voluminous hair, Mondays can be sexy. I'm taking notes, Kourt.
