Lindsay Lohan Wore Two Sheer Dresses This Weekend

The last person I would have ever thought to take fashion cues from the Kardashian-Jenner clan would have been Lindsay Lohan, who wore two sheer gowns this weekend, as if the actress were experimenting with the reality star sisters’ latest bare-all obsession. This may not have as much to do with Kim Kardashian and Kylie Jenner’s influence as it could the fact that Lohan was Italian designer Francesco Scognamglio’s plus one during his birthday festivities this weekend in London.

With a new capsule collection for British fashion label Lavish Alice under her belt, I’m thinking Lohan’s doing perfectly fine in the style department on her own these days, but it does pay to have friends in all the right places. Especially designer places. It just so happens that Scognamiglio designed Kylie Jenner’s buzz-worthy white two-piece ensemble for the Cannes Lions Festival last Wednesday. Yes, the one that was all-too similar to older sister Kim's MET Gala sparkle and feather number.

So while Lohan may have seen the Kardashian-Jenner style, may have admired it, even, I find it hard to believe her outfits of choice this weekend were anything more than a marketing strategy to keep the designer’s sales booming. Whether or not Lindsay Lohan was looking to Kim and Kylie for a style inspo, one thing is for sure — Lohan is setting quite the precedent for a sexy comeback.
