Miguel's New Video Is Intense And Amazing

If you're a fan of seriously smooth R&B, you're probably also a fan of Miguel. The Grammy-winning singer is pretty much the smoothest chanteur in the game right now — and yes, the word "chanteur" is totally necessary here — and makes music that's absolutely perfect for romancing the lady or gent of your choice. His songs are sexy, sensual, and intense in the best ways, and his new short film entitled "WILDHEART Chapter 1: Find What You Love And Let It Kill You" is a music video that's actually three music videos in one. As if things could get any better!

Like the musician's previous releases, "Wildheart" promises to continue in the vein of steamy sexiness that we all know and love Miguel for already. There's lots of making out and touchy-feely goodness, and plenty of shirtless Miguel to add to the mix, as well. Oh, and the music is amazing, too. Given that these are three tracks ("...goingtohell," "Coffee," and "NWA") we can expect on his new album — aptly titled Wildheart — I'd say we're in for an amazing follow-up to the singer's incredible 2012 release, Kaleidoscope Heart. Turn the lights down low and give it a listen, because there are so many good moments you'll want to re-watch again and again.

Love Is A Powerful Drug

Miguel's addiction to romance is no secret, so it makes sense that he'd open a video with a quote. "Find what you love and let it kill you" is a pretty intense notion, but Miguel also loves metaphor, and this one sets the tone for the rest of the video (and probably for his entire new album).

Well, That Escalated Quickly

Since this is a Miguel video, we literally only had to wait 32 seconds for the making out to start. You can always count on him to escalate things quickly and sexily. Ahem.

Oh God, It Won't Stop

I mean, I get that he's trying to drive home a point here, but it's not like we'd doubt Miguel's sexual prowess if he, you know, stopped making out for a while, right? By all means, continue on as you see fit, but there are children present! (Not really.)

Another Tender Moment

It's not all about sex with Miguel — it's also about romance. There are tender moments, too; moments where you just want to gaze into the eyes of the one you love for hours on end (until it's time for more making out).

Time To Take It To The Streets

I'm not sure why Miguel is standing shirtless in the middle of a street that seems to be exploding around him, but at least his girlfriend decides to join him and invite him to come back to bed, right?

A Moment Of Reflection

After literally 8 minutes and 30 seconds of making love, it's time for Miguel to have a quiet moment of reflection on his own. What is he thinking? What's going to happen next?

Oh Thank God, Sunlight

I get that sexiness has a particular mood and is better suited to darkness, but it's a bit of a relief to see some daylight, for once. I don't know where Miguel is going, but if I had to guess, I'd say it's to find that girl he was with for Round 50.

Actually, He's Meeting A Friend

LA rapper Kurupt is on hand to deliver "NWA," another song from Miguel's album. He's a welcome sight, and I'm sure it's good for Miguel to have some time with someone other than his lady friend, and Kurupt is a pretty amazing rapper, too, so it's good company to be in.

Miguel never does reunite with the girl from the first two thirds of the video, but I'm sure that'll be happening off-screen, anyway.
