Kristin Cavallari Experiments With Fake Bangs
With everyone switching up their hairstyles for the summer season, you may find yourself beginning to contemplate a new do for yourself, so why not fake it before you make it? Kristin Cavallari experimented with faux bangs on Wednesday, gathering feedback via Instagram on the look by posting an adorable photo.
"Wanted to change up my look today with bangs!" she explains. "They are attached to a headband to make it super easy. Check them out www.secretbangs.com."
If you're not exactly in the market for a new, totally out there, not to mention basically permanent-until-growth 'do, no biggie. Experimenting with temporary options is your best bet, and Cavallari is definitely on the right track with these headband bangs.
You're basically getting a 2-for-1 special; you're rocking a new head accessory while also getting an opportunity to feel about the bangs style free of charge. Better yet, if you decide you're not really diggin' the bangs after all, ditch them with a handy pair of scissors! Your money will still have been well spent on a cute headband.
I myself love bangs and sported the straight across style like a champ throughout my elementary days. However, I have been blessed and/or cursed with a baby face, and this hairstyle particularly makes me look that much younger. So while I do not feel emotionally invested enough to make the permanent change, I would definitely consider clip ins, and if you find yourself at a crossroads between bangs or no bangs, I'd encourage you to do the same.
Of course, like the rest of us, Cavallari has had plenty of trial and error hairdos. Check out below seven times Kristin Cavallari changed her hairstyle — for better, or for worse.
1. Beach Hippie Braids
I'm debating whether or not I love or hate this.
2. Lengthy for Nylon
Note those bushy bangs. I see Cavallari's latest trial set were sparked from nostalgia.
3. Mini Pigtails
I guess this was a thing?
4. Short and Choppy
Very Christina Aguilera's "What A Girl Wants" video, circa the 2000s.
5. Slicked Back Ponytail
Always a favorite.
6. Side Bangs
I feel as though these are every woman's go-to when they want to change up their hair, but aren't looking to make too drastic of a move. It's a subtle but classic style.
7. Waves on waves
Who didn't experiment with overly gelled beach waves?
